Mapping through tags can be understood as a confusing mass or as a system of lost hierarchies. Nevertheless it is the selection and a certain work of re-tagging (representing things in a simpler way or ordered in a new way) that can shape a landscape. Fields are described as curating techniques. If there is no such decisive energy for representation we can see no obvious field: regrouping is one of the most important creative tasks in the warehouse. Regrouping can take the form of tagging, sorting, selecting, categorizing and putting order to the stored material. This decision of manipulating already stored material can be a power for the voice that tries to speak in the warehouse. Politics of archiving will necessarily be related to this strange voice of selecting and ordering stored material. This is the political aspect of any "post production" strategy.
